Health, beauty and well-being: new solutions adapted to Africa" is the theme of the third edition of the meeting of health professionals, an initiative of the pharmacist Dr Linda Claude Bouboutou Kaboré. It brings together experts from all sectors at this now inescapable health forum to reflect and propose solutions to the challenges facing Africa.
The official launch of this 3rd edition took place on Wednesday 15 January, at the Residence de France, in the presence of distinguished guests and decision-makers from the healthcare sector.
"Like me, you know that there are women who die because they want to give birth to a child," laments the initiator of AfricaSanté.
Dr. Kaboré stressed the urgency of fighting against fake medicines that swarm the markets, promoting experience sharing and collaborating with traditional medicine actors. Because according to the pharmacy specialist, this is how healthcare players will be able to cope with the offer of new patient profiles.
For the success of the event, the organizers of Africa Santé have assembled a scientific committee composed of "50% eminent specialists and 50% talented young people".
